Tiverton Swords Fencing Club PAGE Tiverton Swords is a friendly, volunteer-run community club in Devon. Members are not normally expected to pay for e.g. Head Coach: Jason Ball.

Tiverton Swords Fencing Club is a non-profit community club, run by a volunteer committee and open to all who wish to enjoy the Olympic sport of Fencing. Our head coach, Jason Ball, is a British Fencing registered coach, certified for all 3 weapon disciplines: Level 3 Épée, Level 3 Foil, Level 2 Sabre. Wednesday Training Sessions
6:00pm - 7:15pm, under-13s.
7pm - 8:30pm, under-16s.
7:30pm - 9:30pm, seniors & veterans. Membership is open to all - minimum age 8 - we are a very friendly bunch and guest players are welcome (£10 per session). All fencers need British Fencing membership for insurance purposes.

⚔️ SWORD FIGHTING WORKSHOPS: KNIGHTS
📅 Sunday 27th September 10.30am - 11.30am, 12.15pm - 1.15pm
Suitable for 18+ No previous experience required

Come along and test your mettle in a one-hour taster workshop. We’ll cover footwork, parries and attacks so you’ll be ready to fight on the battlefield or defend the castle walls.

Perfect for fans of Pirates of the Caribbean, Game of Thrones or LOTR. Run by Swashbuckling Cornwall, these high-energy sessions introduce you to swordplay.

Taking names NOW for our next open BEGINNER workshops. Email tiverton.swords at gmail .com or message Tiverton Swords Fencing Club PAGE to register your interest.

Coached sessions of fun, easy swordplay skills will be held at Castle Primary School, Bampton Street, Tiverton starting at 19.00hrs. Parking is available on site.

We provide all the kit you'll need for the beginner sessions. So you just need to wear a t-shirt, tracksuit trousers or leggings (ideally without pockets) and trainers. Bring water to drink, and be ready for a fun workout!

We ask all trainees to take up British Fencing membership for insurance purposes. Their introductory membership is a free 90-day offer. https://tinyurl.com/BF90FREE

SOUTH WEST JUNIORS FENCING COMPETITION!

We're incredibly excited to announce that Bath Sword Club is hosting a fantastic junior fencing competition!

Saturday 10th October
9am–5pm
John Cabot Academy, Kingswood, Bristol
Ages 8–16
Foil • Sabre • Epee
£40 entry

Whether your young fencer is already a regular competitor or this would be their first ever competition, this event is designed to be welcoming, friendly and fun. It’s a brilliant opportunity to gain competition experience, meet other young fencers and enjoy a full day on the piste!

We’d LOVE to see lots of Bath Sword Club juniors getting involved and representing the club!
