It was my absolute pleasure to host Shaftesbury & Gillingham Round Table last night for an evening session of Forest School and Bushcraft in the woods!

🌿 Whittling, firelighting, nettle cordage making and cooking over the fire with some foraged goodies.

Next grown-ups’ session is this Friday (24th) 6-8pm if this sounds good to you!

In the dappled shade we:
🌿 Wove our own spider webs
🌿 Printed flags using hapa zome
🌿 marble painted our own Aurora borealis (as we’d all missed it last night! 🙈)
🌿 ate summer berries with yoghurt and dandelion honey…and played, explored and chatted together.

Alternate Saturdays, 9.30-11.15, £7 per session booked termly, including drinks and snack.

Alternate Fridays, 6-8pm in the beautiful Chaldicott Barns woodland, Semley.

£10 per session, including hot drink and fire cooked snacks.

Something new is coming…

🌿Forest Elder for Adults! 🌿

Alternate Fridays, 6-8pm in the beautiful Chaldicott Barns woodland, Semley.

🌿Starts 10th May.
🌿£10 per session, including hot drink and fire cooked snacks.

So many of you have asked over the last 4 years for a time and space for adults to experience everything Forest school has to offer, so here it is!

These will be learner-led, regular sessions for adults to try or deepen their knowledge of crafts, nature, foraging, bushcraft and to simply enjoy each others’ company in the woods.

A beautiful day for our first Forest Folk summer term session ☀️

Gorgeous Imbolc inspired first session back 2 weeks ago 💚
We made St Brigid’s Crosses from reeds, rolled and decorated beeswax candles, and ate damper bread and foraged Scarlet Elf Cups for snack.
Oh, and made a wormery or 2!

There’s still time to join the remaining 3, fortnightly sessions to take us to Easter.
