The children were fantastic and have worked so hard learning the songs and actions.

We are so proud of all of them.

So today enivironmental health turned up to complete our inspection. We have again received 5* rating.

We are currently looking for a nursery cook and a level 3 (maternity cover) to join our team if you are interested in either of the positions please send your cv to [email protected].

For most, is an unpleasant, short-lived illness with a full recovery within 1-2 days without medical intervention. But it can linger longer and have more of an impact in the very young, elderly or those with weakened immunity.

We have been very busy since returning in September. Here are some of our activities we have enjoyed.

It is so important that parents check their tapestry account regularly as this is where all updates are shared.

If you can not access tapestry or having trouble activating it please contact the nursery and we will assist to set it up for you.

An amber weather warning has been issued by the Met Office - we're expecting very high winds from 5am tomorrow as Storm Eunice hits the UK.

There is a good chance that flying debris could result in a danger to life and there could be damage to buildings and homes.

Please secure loose garden furniture, parasols and trampolines in gardens. Take care if you need to travel, and check services are running if you're using public transport.

Important message for parents.

From 11th January in England, people who receive a positive lateral flow test for COVID-19 won’t be required to take a confirmatory PCR test. They should continue to self-isolate.

We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and new year.

Reminder to all parents we are back open to all children from tomorrow (Tuesday 4th January 2022)

The self-isolation guidance has been updated, including using lateral flow tests to reduce the self-isolation period from 10 to seven days.

Below is a summary of the change and what they mean for anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19:

🔵 If you test positive on day 6 or 7, you can re-test yourself later during the 10-day period

🔵 You can leave self-isolation when you have had two negative tests, at least 24 hours apart, on consecutive days – e.g. on days 7 and 8, or days 8 and 9, or days 9 and 10.

🔵 If you leave self-isolation on or after day 7 you are strongly advised to limit close contact with other people in crowded or poorly ventilated spaces, work from home where possible and minimise contact with anyone who might be at risk of severe illness if infected with COVID.

🔵 The new self-isolation approach reflects the latest analysis on how long cases transmit the virus for, and supports essential public services and supply chains over the winter while limiting the virus’ spread.

Santa and his elf have arrived at nursery this morning.

We have enjoyed lots of Christmasy activities this week, as well as showing off our lovely Christmas jumpers on Monday and Wednesday.

On Thursday we had a lovely time making our own tickets for ‘unicorn’s cinema’ where we enjoyed popcorn and hot chocolate.
