Exciting Announcement – Welcoming Our New Teacher: Hafiz Anas Ali
We are delighted to welcome Hafiz Anas Ali to Nalayn Academy, joining us from 1st April 2025. He will be teaching Qā'idah, Qur'ān, The Qamar Syllabus for Islamic Studies, and Arabic Language – with a unique focus on spoken Arabic, eventually progressing to Qur'anic Arabic.

About Hafiz Anas Ali:
Hafiz Anas Ali is a British-born, English-speaking, experienced teacher who has taught Qā'idah and Qur'ān with high standards of Tajwīd at Oldbury Jamia Masjid. He has also taught Islamic Studies at Cradley Heath Central Mosque and Acocks Green Masjid, covering key subjects such as:
Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)
Aqidah (Islamic Theology)
Sīrah (Life of the Prophet ﷺ)
Tajwīd (Correct Qur'anic Recitation)
In addition to his teaching experience, he has:
Led prayers on a part-time basis at Cradley Heath Central Mosque
Delivered numerous English lectures addressing the needs of today’s youth
Led Jumu'ah and Eid prayers at Oldbury Jamia Masjid
Led Taraweeh prayers for the last three years at Cradley Heath and Netherton Masjid

Alhamdulillah, Hafiz Anas Ali has memorized the Qur'ān with excellence in Tajwīd, having completed his Hifz at Cradley Heath Central Mosque and Dudley Qur'ān Academy.
He is currently pursuing Dars Nizami (Ālim Studies), which includes advanced subjects such as:
Arabic Language & Balagha (Rhetoric)
Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence)
Aqidah (Islamic Theology)
Usul al-Hadith (Principles of Hadith)
Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Jurisprudence)
He is currently studying 3rd and 4th year books of the Dars Nizami program and is studying under several distinguished scholars. His teachers include:

M***i Zulfiqār Al-Azhari (Online)
Shaykh Muhammad Yaseen Al-Shādhili (at Hasanat Centre for Islamic Studies, Birmingham)

A Unique Arabic Learning Experience:
A core component of Hafiz Anas Ali’s teaching will be the introduction of spoken Arabic, a new and unique feature exclusively for our curriculum. This initiative will enable students to:
Speak and understand Arabic through basic conversations
Lead onto comprehension of the Qur'ān in its original language by studying various Surahs
Nalayn Academy is pleased to be one of the only local institutes offering such a comprehensive and progressive curriculum.
