Happy half term YR!! Well done for all that you have achieved again this half term, you have all demonstrated your STARS values so confidently and been superstars! We were very lucky this week to be awarded ‘table of the half term‘ for our excellent behaviour at lunchtime. We had a fun filled lunchtime and celebrated our achievements! Miss Lewis and Miss Weaver are extremely proud of you all 🤩🌟

Group 1 & 2 had so much fun during pond dipping, and learnt lots of amazing facts about different creatures this morning. We used our safety value around the pond and respect value when handling the pond animals. 🌟

Group 1 and 2 started today’s activities with archery. They learnt how to hold the bow and load the arrows. After practicing, they had a friendly competition to knock bottles of water off and even aim at Emma the activity leader!

Parent pop-in tomorrow for the children in Y4, Y5 and Y6 who haven't been to Edgmond Hall. They have been working on an exciting 'Civilisations' topic and can't wait to show you their work! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow afternoon 🤩

Thank you to all of our fantastic school community who came and cheered KS1 and KS2 on yesterday at Sports Day and for joining the parent races! We had a brilliant day and it was lovely to see all children participating. This afternoon YR have again immersed themselves into our topic ‘All Creature Great and Small’. YR went on a safari experience with their tour guides, Miss Lewis and Miss Weaver, and ended with African inspired dancing. We had a fantastic afternoon and were able to spot some amazing animals! 🤩

YR have immersed themselves this half term into our curriculum topic ‘All creatures great and small’. This week YR developed their own play ideas and asked if they could make their own animal masks. This week YR have been thinking very carefully about Mental Health Week 2024 and this years theme ‘Movement’. We have talked about why movement is important and how we can support our emotional, physiological and social wellbeing, something we always encourage at Jubilee Park Academy. We have spent of time outdoors, completed the daily mile and lots of physical activities to support our mental health.
