Playden Nursery is a childcare provision which offers pre-school education for children aged 2.5 and 4.5 year during the school term time. Playden offers a wide range of play experiences, which will encourage children's learning and development through play, in a safe and friendly environment with enthusiastic staff.

🎃 HALLOWEEN PARTY 🎃

We are having our Halloween party on Friday 28th October as well as Monday 31st. The children can dress up in their Halloween costumes and we will be having party food at lunch.

Morning everyone
Hope you have had a good Easter weekend. I am pleased to say that the Nursery will be open tomorrow as normal.
All the staff are fully recovered and the nursery has had a professional deep clean.
Please remember to take nappies with you to restock your bags and spare clothes if your little one has grown over the last couple of weeks 😊
Looking forward to see everyone again, enjoy the rest of the day.

I’m sorry but we will NOT be able to open next week as staff are still testing positive and have symptoms. The test days for staff will only be Wednesday and Thursday. I know that this will cause problems for some of you but I need to adhere to guidelines just now, and also look after staff welfare.

The Nursery will be closed from Tuesday 22nd March until further notice. This is due to an outbreak of Covid 19 infections among the staff. Most of the staff are now testing positive with symptoms. I do not have enough staff left to maintain adult/child ratios and keep the safety of all service users a priority.
I’m expecting staff to remain isolating for the correct time. At this time it’s Two negative tests are required after day 5.
I will update as soon as I can.

This is an urgent message to all parents.
If your child is coughing, sneezing or generally unwell or any family member is positive YOU MUST keep them off. There are rapidly increasing numbers in the Nursery. Staff member has tested positive and now will not be at work for at least 7 days. The Nursery WILL BE closed if any more staff test positive. The child/staff ratio will be compromised!
Please help the Nursery stay open and do your bit 🙏
