☕🍰 Macmillan Coffee Morning | Wednesday 2nd September

We’re holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning next Wednesday and we’d love you to join us!

After morning drop-off, parents and carers are invited to pop into the school hall for a cup of tea or coffee, a slice of cake and a chat, while helping us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

💷 Please bring some cash with you on the morning.

Come along, bring a friend and help us support a brilliant cause. 💚

💚 A Fantastic First Day Back!
What a wonderful start to the new school year!

It was a pleasure to welcome all of our children back to school today, with a particularly warm welcome to the newest members of our Reception class. We hope you've all had a fantastic first day.

Today also marked the launch of our first school value of the year, Belief. Over the coming weeks, we'll be encouraging every child to believe in themselves, believe in one another and believe that they can achieve great things.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Meet the Teacher and View the Classroom event after school. It was lovely to welcome so many parents and carers into school

See you tomorrow! 💚

Our second INSET day has included attachment and trauma training, helping us continue to develop the support we provide for every child.

We've also been busy in classrooms and around school making those final preparations ready for tomorrow.

🍽️ A quick reminder that we're still on our Summer Menu, starting with Week 1 this week.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back in the morning!

🎓 Good Luck, Year 7!

Today, many of our former children took the exciting step of starting secondary school as Year 7.

We hope you've all had a fantastic first day, settled in well, made new friends and enjoyed the start of this exciting new chapter.

Everyone at Thringstone Primary School is incredibly proud of you, and we wish you every success for the future.

Our staff are back!!

Today was the first of our two INSET days before the children return on Wednesday.

It was wonderful to welcome both familiar and new faces as we came together for the start of the new school year. Staff completed safeguarding and emergency procedures training before taking part in autism training, helping us continue to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for every child.

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone back very soon.
