Little Explorers is a small family run Nursery, where 'nature' and 'nurture' are at the heart of all we do. The Nursery is owned and run by two highly qualified and experienced teachers...both are mummies too! This means not only do they know how to teach and motivate children. They know what children and babies need at an emotional level. Little Explorers has been set up based on sound educationa

l theories, with state of the art technology and amazing outdoor facilities, enabling children to reach their potential. As we are part of the 'Forest School Alliance' we are passionate about outdoor learning. In fact we are the only Forest School Private Nursery in this area! All children within the Nursery are able to access Forest school Sessions within their timetable of attendance. We offer a huge variety of activities on a weekly basis inc 'Jungle Jingles', Yoga Bears', Cookery, Dance and Football etc This wealth of experiences build confidence, resiliance, but most importantly means they have FUN!

Hands-on activities like these help children build early number skills while exploring, problem‑solving and enjoying the fresh air.

We love watching their confidence grow as they discover that learning can happen anywhere — especially in nature. 💚
