UNSTOPPABLE!

On Tuesday we had our last session with Olly from BFC. We have really enjoyed our PSHE lessons looking at resilience, friendships, behaviour and relationships and enjoyed the book Unstoppable even more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Year 3 have enjoyed learning some important life skills as part of Funky Friday! The children have practised folding jumpers and rolling up matching socks! 🧦 They also practised hanging their washing on a washing line. Hopefully, the children will take these new skills home with them!

It's the end of the week, which means Anchornews Volume 6 is here! The headlines of the week include a Year 5 intra school house archery 🎯 competition (congratulations Red team!), as well as a water and rivers session for Year 4 from River Ribble Trust.

Please note that the 17th will be a non-uniform day to support the Harvest Celebrations and the Halloween quiz. Please see page 5 of Anchornews for more information.

To support our Harvest Celebrations and Halloween Quiz we are holding a non-uniform day on Friday 17th October.
Please bring in a Halloween themed treat or harvest donation. 🍂
NO COSTUMES please. Every day suitable clothing.

🍂🍁We have all enjoyed our first Topic of Autumn in Foundation where we have looked at changes in the environment and learnt about wind, rain and rainbows. We have also been busy with our Mandarin lessons, PE, Cosmic Yoga and exploring the provision in all 5 areas of learning. We never stop! 🌟💙💛

Last week Year 6 completed the annual illuminations walk! Every year, teachers, pupils and parents walk the lights to gather ideas for their very own Blackpool illumination project in DT! We had a great turn out this year and were all inspired by a variety of different illuminations.
