Today in Beginnings, the children had great fun using pipettes to create a beautiful butterfly! 🦋 They carefully squeezed coloured water into the pipettes and loved watching their butterfly come to life with lots of vibrant colours.
This engaging activity was a fantastic way to develop fine motor skills, helping to strengthen the small muscles in their hands and fingers that are important for future handwriting as they progress to F1.

This week F2 began making cards for someone special. They have also been enjoying using some of their new outdoor equipment.

Y1/2SHE tried tying shoelaces this week. They showed great determination even when things got tricky. Well done everyone!

This week, the children in Beginnings have loved exploring the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar! 🐛
We enjoyed using tweezers to feed our very own hungry caterpillars with colourful pom-poms, helping to develop our fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. The children also got creative with paint printing, using circular pots to make the outlines of their own caterpillars.
To continue the fun, we hid lots of caterpillars in the sand tray for the children to discover and explore, encouraging curiosity, investigation, and imaginative play.
What a wonderful week of learning inspired by this much loved story! 💚 🐛

Y3LJA - Today in computing we learnt how to re-size our sprite and draw a maze, before creating a code so that the sprite moves through the maze.
