😊 There are five low-cost food hubs that can help all residents save money on their groceries throughout the year across the Borough, including during the summer holidays.

You can reduce the cost of your weekly food shop by registering at one of our Bread and Butter Thing hubs as you can pick up three bags of good quality food for £8.50 which always includes fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled food for the fridge or freezer and a selection of cupboard staples.

The food provided is surplus sourced from supermarkets, factories, and farms, which contributes to a reduction on the amount of food that goes into landfill at each hub.

The five hubs across the Borough are as follows:

What a gorgeous day we have had today!

This morning we held the Graduation 🧑‍🎓 👩‍🎓 It’s a special celebration marking the end of the nursery journey and recognising how much the children have grown, learned and developed before moving on to their next big adventure.

We celebrate all the little milestones they have achieved along the way -

* 🌱 Growing in confidence and independence
* ❤️ Making friendships and learning to play together
* 🎨 Exploring creativity and imagination
* 🧩 Learning through play and discovery
* 🌳 Outdoor adventures and experiences
* 😊 Developing emotional wellbeing and resilience
And finally being ready for the next stage of their journey!

And this afternoon we had a Teddy bears picnic with a special guest that we were all excited to meet!

🔥 The fire drill on Monday for some children that hadn’t experienced it before worked wonders! 🔥
Well done to the Barnies that were amazing at following instructions today after a false alarm 🚨
It’s always very daunting and sometimes upsetting when the children hear the alarm bells, however today they all took it in their stride and were amazing! Well done to staff too who all reacted calmly and efficiently ❤️
