⭐️⭐️⭐️Welcome to the Music Star of the month challenge ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Every month I will award one of my students the title of Music Star. We will make either a video or an audio recording of their performance which will be showcased on this page.

I’d like to say that every student is enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working. However, to be considered for the Music Star of the month, consistency is key.
Any student who has been consistently practising at least 10 minutes a day will be considered - It’s all about steady progress and perseverance.

I do like to encourage either a parent or guardian to be present during the online lesson. This is mainly to help with tasks like tuning (which I will walk you through) and computer issues.

In an effort to try and give you the best idea of what to expect, I’d like to share a photo of my home teaching space. This is where the majority of my private tuition takes place.

I always wondered whether the ”Mozart effect” (playing classical music to your child while sleeping to improve cognitive abilities) really worked, turns out it is only a myth. However, children who engage with music by learning a musical instrument can find that it may help with some of their other studies.

”Science has shown that when children learn to play music, their brains begin to hear and process sounds that they couldn’t otherwise hear.
