We are incredibly proud to share some exciting news with our nursery families and community 💛

Our setting has officially achieved Millie’s Mark: a truly significant milestone that reflects our strong commitment to keeping every child safe.

Millie’s Mark is awarded to early years settings that go above and beyond in paediatric first aid training, ensuring that all staff are fully trained and confident to respond in an emergency. Achieving this shows our dedication to providing the highest standard of care for your children every single day.

We couldn’t be prouder of our staff for their hard work and commitment 👏

We’d like to say a huge thank you to the Emmerson Kelsey Choking Prevention Foundation for their very kind donation of a LifeVac device. This life-saving piece of equipment will be a valuable addition to our nursery and we’re incredibly grateful for their support.

We’re also pleased to share that, thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported our Defibrillator Campaign, we found ourselves in the fortunate position of having some residual funds remaining. Rather than letting those funds sit unused, we have donated them to this amazing local charity to help them continue their important work in memory of Emmerson.

Community initiatives like these only succeed because of the kindness, generosity and collaboration of people and organisations who care. Thank you again to the Emmerson Kelsey Foundation and to everyone who supported the defibrillator campaign – together we are helping make our community safer. 💙

This morning we have donated a LifeVac device to Jack and Jill's Nursery School at thirsk and they also gave us a donation we are incredibly grateful for, so thank you.

We are incredibly proud to share that Jack and Jill's Nursery School now has a defibrillator ❤️

Over the past months, our amazing children have been busy fundraising to help make this possible. From bag sales, sponsored walks and tombolas, they have worked so hard to raise money to support both our setting and the wider community.

Thanks to all of their effort, generosity, and the support from our wonderful families and community, we are delighted to now have this lifesaving equipment in place. This defibrillator will help ensure that our nursery is even safer and can also support our local community if ever needed.

We would also like to say a special thank you to some wonderful local businesses who supported our fundraising efforts: Joe Langley Personal Training, Twiggy's, Grove House Interiors and Vencomatic Poultry UK. We really appreciate your generosity and support.

Our Sycamores braved the cold and drizzly weather for our sponsored walk to raise money for a defibrillator – and they were absolutely amazing! 💪❤️ We’re well on our way to reaching our target, and we couldn’t be prouder of their determination and spirit.
