The Baldersby Park Suzuki Strings course is designed to cater for violin, viola, and 'cello players of all ages and levels, from pre-twinkle to advanced players. Musical activities include group lessons, a masterclass, orchestras, chamber music and choirs depending on level of playing ability. ng the course is performed at one of two concerts. The first concert takes place on the 3rd evening and the course ends with a final concert on the following afternoon. Queen Mary’s School is the home of Baldersby Park Suzuki Strings. It is a girls’ boarding school in rural Baldersby Park, near Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The extensive grounds include tennis courts, a children’s play area, and a swimming pool. All children have access to creative and art activities outside lesson time, and special musical activities are organised for the youngest children. There are also opportunities for parents who play stringed instruments to make music in the evenings, including a parents’ orchestra for string players of all levels and a parents’ choir.
