I recently received an email from the Friends of Dishforth Primary School asking for help to brighten up their car park. We were delighted to assist and on Thursday I met Connie who collected three packs of daffodil bulbs to be planted by the pupils. Can't wait to see the results!

We are in excess of 400 wonderful people coming along to join us.

Ahead of DishFest I want to say an amazing thank you to the incredible amount of work the DishFest committee are putting in.

Hours of admin, H&S reviews, printing & delivering posters, shopping trips, organising a programme, requesting volunteers……the planning is immense.

The volunteer rota will come out this week.
If you have not offered to help yet but can give an hour to help, please message. Roles include on the gate, steward, serve teas, whatever you are comfortable with, we would really APPRECIATE it!

We will also need support for a big clean up on the Sunday.

We have had the question why are we charging (only by a few) however, we felt it only right to share the costings.
Please be aware we were very successful with a Jubilee grant along with donations which is why there was no charge for the smaller event.

Coronation grants are different and in consideration to feed back into developing the village.
