Get in involved and join Friends of Dishforth schools
We’re a great bunch, raising funds for school so we can subsidise transport costs, by new equipment.
Every little bit of help really counts.

A wonderful landmark day for Ripon Cathedral as Ronny Krippner and the choir feature on BBC Radio 3 at 3pm today. A live broadcast of evensong.
The cathedral has supported us at Dishforth CE Primary School for many years and our children have the delight or celebrations and worship at the cathedral.

We are thrilled that Choral Evensong tomorrow at 3pm on February 11 will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3

It will also be repeated on Sunday February 15 at 3pm.

All are warmly welcome to join us for this beautiful service, featuring Ripon Cathedral Choir and we can’t wait to share this special moment of music and worship with you – whether you are joining us in person or listening to the radio.

The service will be led by the Dean of Ripon, the Very Rev John Dobson - the choir will be conducted by Ripon Cathedral’s Director of Music, Dr Ronny Krippner and the organist will be Assistant Director of Music Tim Harper .

For those wishing to attend, please be seated by 2.45pm latest and once the service begins at 3pm we require people to stay for the full service in order to minimise disruption to the live broadcast.
