Little Wonders Childcare

It's been alot quieter than usual due to the summer holiday's, but we've still enjoyed our little adventures with so many learning opportunities and memories made 🩷

Little wonder A brought his balance bike today and off we went on an adventure!
It's going to get up to 30 degrees today here so we made the most of the cooler morning, luckily we get enough shade in the garden so we can stay outside for a while and enjoying some water play

It's always quieter in the holiday's here but we still went on a big adventure!
The church bells were ringing, we had the park to ourselves, we explored the around the beck, we climbed a very old tree, we saw hundreds of butterflies (no exaggeration) flying in a swarm by the church it was amazing!
Obviously we stopped for ice cream 😄
There were so many learning opportunities, it was fabulous 👌🏻

Baking is such a lovely activity that offers children so many opportunities to learn through play.
As they measure, pour, mix and stir, they're developing fine motor skills, early maths and hand eye coordination.
We chat about the ingredients, predict what might happen as they bake, and encourage children to make their own choices, helping to build confidence, language and problem-solving skills.
Activities like this support many areas of the EYFS, including Communication and Language, Physical Development, Mathematics, and Understanding the World, while also encouraging children to become confident, curious and independent learners.
Most importantly, baking is lots of fun and gives children a real sense of pride when they get to enjoy something they've made themselves.

First week of the holidays complete!
It's been a lovely, calm hygge of a week with the little wonders.
We have explored the woods, the beck, been on a duck hunt, baked, learnt how to care for our rabbits and made the most of the outdoors but most importantly enjoyed our time together ❤️

We are still here and still full until 2027.
If any spaces become available I will advertise them here.
I am quite rubbish at updating my page but we have had a lovely term so far and welcomed some new additions to the garden 🐰
The Little Wonders are enjoying looking after the bunnies, helping to keep their shed clean, feeding them and learning about how to care for them.
Rabbits are not an easy or cheap pet to keep, I have over 10 years experience of caring for them and they bring so much joy ❤️
Also, we can't forget Dash the Guinea Pig!
