Little Wonders Childcare

07/10/2026

Today we went on an adventure to find stickman and collected sticks to made our own stickman.
We found different sized sticks and put them in large and small groups then tied them together with twine.
We used our binoculars to find birds in the trees and the sky and lifted up logs and stones to find different species of insects.
We found evidence of wood worm and rabbits!
We finished off our morning with a park trip and of course read Stickman 📚

I have been very spoilt today by the little wonders (and parents)!
Also, the chocolate, my weakness 👌🏻
It has been a lovely day celebrating my birthday with everyone and yes, we had cake (if you know you know).
Can't wait to see all your faces tomorrow x

It has been an absolute pleasure to have been part of the lives of these little one's and their families, even if for a brief period.
I am also proud of my own little/not so little one's who have shared their own Mum with so many other children, but by doing so have made their own lasting friendships.

This is Bramble one of our 4 bunnies.
They are out in the garden every day with the children
They teach the children kindness, empathy and they learn how to look after them with the correct diet and the importance of exercise and keeping them clean and well groomed.
We have lots of animals here and it is one of the reasons parents choose Little Wonders to care for their children 😊
I am proud of my little zoo and the way the children look after them with me x

I'm so glad I captured this, her face was a picture!
Little Wonder E built this tower a few times before she was able to balance the blocks just right to make it as tall as her, she waited, and then as she predicted it toppled over 😃
This was repeated three times and each time she tried to make it taller.

Areas covered in the EYFS:
