What a fantastic afternoon we had at our latest Family Fun session at the Carbrooke Community Hub!

From colourful creations and Father's Day crafts to our collaborative family artwork, it was wonderful to see children and grown-ups getting creative together. There was plenty of laughter, imagination, and teamwork as everyone enjoyed making something unique to take home.

One of the best parts of Family Fun is seeing families make lasting memories through creativity.

This week, our young artists created their own beautiful panda habitats while learning how even small changes can make a big difference to wildlife conservation.

We explored how protecting habitats and caring for the environment can help animal populations thrive. The children used their creativity to design unique bamboo forests, each one home to its own adorable panda.

Every artwork was different, showing just how imaginative our creators can be. Take a look at their fantastic panda habitats!

This week's craft time saw everyone creating their own Polar scenes, thinking about the icy habitats that many amazing animals call home.

We used chalks and pastels to create beautiful Arctic-inspired landscapes before adding polar animals to bring our frozen worlds to life.

The Creation Station is back with a Tiny Treasure, Father's Day Special!

Join us at The Community Hub, Carbrooke on Wednesday 17th June for a creative morning filled with crafting, keepsakes, and precious memories.

As a father with two daughters, I know first-hand that some of the most treasured gifts aren't the expensive ones. They're the handprints on a canvas, the paintings proudly displayed on the fridge, and the handmade creations that capture a moment in time. Six years on, many of those special gifts still have pride of place in my home and office.

Together with your little one, you'll create beautiful Father's Day gifts, including handprint and footprint artwork, canvas creations, handmade trophies, and other special keepsakes that are sure to bring a smile to everyone's face.

Another week, another craft and this time we are creating our own Rainforest Rescue thinking about how the lungs of the Earth help us every day.

We created our own printed background with scrunched up newspaper and leaves before adding our funky patterned jungle animals in the foreground.
