Just a reminder that I will be on maternity leave until May 2025 so I will not be taking enquiries at present.

What a fun day we had at the farm today!

🐷🐔🐴🐐

We saw lots of animals and petted the small ones, fed the pigs, played on the park and the trampolines. Had a yummy lunch and an ice cream, went on the tractor ride, played in the big sandpit and indoor play area.

The little ones made me so proud, we even got complimented on how beautifully behaved they were😀🥰

I had my first graded inspection last week and I’m pleased to announce that I received ‘good’ in all areas 🎉
The report said so many lovely things about me and my setting but I couldn’t do it without my little cubs and wonderful parents! 🐻

A beautiful morning spent walking through the forest, playing at the park, feeding the ducks and a yummy picnic 🧺🦆

Finally some sunshine! ☀️
We have had the best morning in the garden, making cakes in the mud kitchen, scooping and pouring in the water table, building sandcastles, playing on the slide and the swing, eating yummy ice lollies. I now have 3 very sleepy cubs 🐻😴

Lots of fun Easter activities this week. Feeding carrots to the bunny, Easter egg hunts, making chocolate nests and painting.

Valentines love potions 🧪❤️

The children loved exploring this sensory activity today. With strawberry scented water and petals. We talked about colours, how it felt and how it smelled. Promoting motor skills with scooping and pouring. It was definitely a hit 🥰

Song Book 🎶

One of our favourite activities at the moment. For younger/ non verbal children, this has been a fantastic way of giving them a choice. They each take a turn at choosing a song and then we sing it.

It provides children with an opportunity to take turns and to wait for their turn.

It’s engaging and with repition, they begin to learn which song correlates to which picture.

It helps to develop communication and language skills as the children begin to say what the picture is, joining in with the songs and doing the actions 🕺
