🎉 GCSE Results Day Success at Theale Green School! 🎉

Today, we are celebrating the incredible achievements of our Year 11 students as they received their GCSE results. We are immensely proud of the hard work, resilience and dedication shown by every student throughout their journey.

This year's results represent a major milestone for our school, with the strongest GCSE outcomes achieved since joining Activate Learning Education Trust in 2018. An impressive 40% of students achieved grades 7 and above, while Science results exceeded national pass rates and continue to go from strength to strength.

Beyond the results themselves, we are proud of the many contributions this cohort has made to school life through leadership, sport, performing arts and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Their achievements both inside and outside the classroom have helped shape our school community.

We wish all our students every success in their next steps, whether that be joining our Sixth Form, pursuing training opportunities, apprenticeships or employment. Congratulations, Year 11. Your future is bright, and we can't wait to see what you achieve next! 🌟

A Level Results Day is finally here! 🎉

A huge congratulations to all of our Year 13 students collecting their A Level and vocational qualification results today. You should be incredibly proud of everything you have achieved.

Today has been full of celebration as students reflected on their hard work, determination and personal growth, while securing places at university, apprenticeship programmes and a range of other exciting post-18 destinations.

This year's results continue the school's strong progress, with students making better progress than the national average and two-thirds of grades awarded at A*-C.

Students are heading on to a fantastic range of opportunities, including prestigious university courses and sought-after apprenticeships, with destinations spanning subjects such as English Literature, International Relations, Physics with Astrophysics, Geography and Nursing, as well as careers in policing and accountancy.

We are so proud of every single one of you and can't wait to see what you achieve next. Good luck for the future and congratulations on this well-deserved success! 🌟

Year 12 Physics students had a great time enjoying the sunshine last week whilst (safely) observing the Sun. Students then compared their observations to live NASA data to analyse accuracy of images!

We are delighted to announce that we have won the Platinum School Games Mark for the fifth consecutive year (out of more than 25,000 schools across England, only 190 have won this award for a fifth time)!

The Platinum School Games Mark recognises excellence in sport, physical activity, inclusion, leadership and student wellbeing.

This award is a testament to the dedication of our students, staff, volunteers and wider school community who work tirelessly to create opportunities for everyone to enjoy and benefit from being active.

What a fantastic two days in London!
Despite the extremely hot weather, our students had an amazing time enjoying SIX at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, exploring Covent Garden and Leicester Square, and taking part in an inspiring workshop at Pineapple Studios.
Throughout the trip, the students behaved impeccably and were an absolute pleasure to accompany. They represented Theale Green School brilliantly.
A huge thank you to all the staff who supported the trip and helped provide our students with such a fantastic opportunity and an unforgettable experience.

Culture Day! 🎉
On Tuesday, 7th July, the Student Council proudly hosted Culture Day in the gym, and it was a fantastic celebration of the diversity within our school community.

Students created a range of informative and engaging stands representing different countries, football cultures, religions, and LGBTQ+ identities. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn more about one another, share experiences, and appreciate the many cultures and backgrounds that make our community so special.

A huge thank you to all the students and staff who contributed to making the day such a success. Together, we celebrated inclusion, understanding, and respect in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. 🌎
