Six years ago, after COVID, Berkshire Maestros restructured the management team. I asked Dawn Wren if I could reduce my hours and, taking a huge leap of faith, decided to follow my love of all things aquatic and set up my own company. 🏊‍♀️💙

Sam helped me build my website, and the Bank of Dad kindly loaned me the money to buy my manikins and training equipment! 😂

Because first aid qualifications are regulated, every year I am audited by the Royal Life Saving Society to ensure compliance, quality and best practice. For the past six years, I’ve been incredibly proud to receive a “Good” audit.

But today… I received an “EXCELLENT” status! 🎉🙌

I honestly can’t put into words how much this means to me. It represents six years of hard work, learning, developing, occasionally doubting myself, and continuing to push forward with something I truly love.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me, championed me, assessed for me, encouraged me, recommended me and believed in me along the way. I will be forever grateful to every single one of you. ❤️

Two mornings at Highwood Copse Primary with some very nervous staff who worked so hard and passed their Emergency Peadiatric First Aid, their Emergency First Aid At Work & Anaphylaxis Management assessments. Lots of content, lots of study but relaxed environment and great results 👏 Welldone team 👍

The summer term is always a crazy time, and this year is no different!

I now have just one First Aid course slot left before the schools break up for the summer. September is already looking busy and dates are booking up fast, so if you're planning First Aid training for your team in the autumn term, please get in touch soon to avoid disappointment.

The day started at Berkshire Music Trust with a Paediatric first aid course for their staff and Lizzie Yoga. It was great catching up with my old work colleagues, and i’m delighted that all staff successfully passed their practical & theory assessments.

This evening, an NPLQ renewal assessment for the team at Bradfield College Sports Complex and Natalya Furneaux, who all passed with flying colours.

Well done everyone — fantastic results all round 👏
