This Sunday, Groove’s very own Samuel Butler is swapping the studio for the stage and heading just down the road to The Fox Inn, Hermitage for an afternoon of live music!

🎶 WE’VE BEEN A LITTLE QUIET ON HERE LATELY… BUT DEFINITELY NOT AT THE STUDIO! 👀

It’s been a busy few weeks behind the scenes at Groove.

We’ve been using the summer break to finally tick off some of those jobs that have been sitting on the list for far too long! The reception area is nearly there, the kitchen has had a freshen up, and we’ve been getting the studios ready to welcome everyone back.

And somehow… lessons start back in just TWO WEEKS! 🤯🎸

September is always a brilliant time to start something new, so we’re opening up our diary for FREE TRIAL LESSONS for anyone who fancies giving music a go.

What an incredible day! ❤️

We're so proud to have been one of the main sponsors of Clubfest 2026 and to have seen so many talented musicians take to the stage.

A huge thank you to The Club Bar and Lounge for organising such a fantastic event, and to everyone who came along to support two brilliant causes: Charlie Waller Trust and Help for Heroes. Lastly a big thank you to thelittlegigtrailercompany for stepping in and helping us get an amazing sound for the day

It was especially special for us to see our Groove Rock School bands performing, alongside our teachers, producers and ex-students. Watching students grow into confident performers is exactly what Groove Studio is all about.

🎶 We're incredibly proud to be supporting ClubFest 2026 as the event's Audio Sponsor! 🎶

ClubFest is always a brilliant community event, and this year is extra special for us because Groove Studio will be represented on stage throughout the day.

🤘 Two of our Groove Rock School bands will be performing after spending the week learning songs, rehearsing together and getting ready for the stage.

🎧 Our resident producer and ex-student, Sam Butler, will also be performing. Watching students progress from lessons to producing music and performing professionally is exactly what Groove Studio is all about.

🎸 We'll also be taking to the stage ourselves, with a band made up of teachers, producers and ex-students—something we're incredibly proud of. Seeing former students return as teachers, session musicians and producers is a testament to the community we've built.

Whether you're coming along to support the charities, enjoy the music, or just have a great day out, we'd love to see you there.

🎸 ROCK SCHOOL IS BACK! 🎸

Looking for something musical to keep the kids busy this summer?

Groove Studio Rock School is all about playing in bands, learning new songs, building confidence and making music with other young musicians in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether it's your first time playing with others or you're already in a band, Rock School is a fantastic opportunity to experience what it's feels like to be part of a real band.

🎸 A huge congratulations to Connor! 🎸

This weekend, Samuel's student Connor took to the stage for his very first live performance at the St Mark's C of E School Fête in Cold Ash, performing "You Stopped the Rain" by King King

First performances are always a big moment, and Connor absolutely smashed it. His confidence, preparation and performance were something to be incredibly proud of.

At Groove Studio, seeing students reach milestones like this is exactly what it's all about. Whether it's their first lesson, first band rehearsal or first time on stage, we're here to help them grow in confidence and enjoy making music.

A big thank you to Cold Ash St Mark's CE Primary School for giving Connor the opportunity to perform, and congratulations again, Connor. We're all incredibly proud of you! 👏🎶
