Friends of Whitelands Park, thank you so much for a wonderful Summer Fête! So many stalls with lots of winners; plus hotdogs, an ice-cream van and popcorn!
Our musicians also provided some excellent entertainment for us all!

What an incredible year for our school band!
Their performance at the Music Evening was absolutely fantastic. They showed true resilience and self-belief, taking on an extremely challenging piece of music, embracing the hard work, and delivering a phenomenal result!
To top it all off, the band was invited to perform for the KS2 pupils at Spurcroft Primary School last Wednesday. Once again, our talented children blew us away with a very high-standard performance.
We are so incredibly proud of you all. Well done! 🎼🎻🎹🎺🎸⭐️

Today our Year 5s were lucky enough to have workshops with cast and crew from the Watermill Theatre. We learned drama skills from the actors, dance and musicality from the choreographer and theatre design from a costume and set designer.
We all had a wonderful morning, even the teachers who have some great dance moves!

Wow! What an absolutely incredible night we had at Kennet School for our Whitelands Park Music Evening! It was a showcase of pure talent, dedication, and high-quality music that sat in line with our school value of Kindness: Build our community.
The sheer variety of performances was breathtaking. From beautiful flute and cello ensembles to rocking guitar groups and high-energy drum performances; from solos and duets featuring everything from the piano to the trombone; our performance choir and general choir with their spectacular performances! All topped up with a fantastic performance by our School Band accompanied by our Performance Choir interpreting 'Earth' by Hans Zimmer.
A massive thank you to all of our incredibly talented students who poured their hearts into their performances, the staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and the wonderful parents and community members who came out to support them.
You all made it a night to remember!
