A little reminder that the term starts on Thursday 3rd September. ๐ŸŽ’โœจ

Our New Term Mass is on Friday 4th September at 9.30am. This will also be Fr Kevinโ€™s last school Mass before his retirement โ›ช Weโ€™d love to see as many of you as possible there to mark the occasion and wish him well. โค๏ธ All welcome ๐Ÿค—

Year 5 had a wonderful time creating their own pizzas, having adapted the recipe to their own designs. Having grown courgettes, onions and garlic in school, these were used to make the pizza sauce- which was very tasty! As if that wasnโ€™t enough, they also enjoyed potato salad with our winning crop from the school potato growing competition. What a great way to learn about Farm to Fork!

The Mini Vinnies held a stall at the summer fair on Saturday, making cakes and biscuits, hand knitted bookmarks and sparkly pens (along with Mrs Hicksโ€™ famous fudge) They raised a whopping ยฃ174 towards the Roots of Empathy programme in school! Year 5 had a great day with DT today as they evaluated the nutritional content of different pizza sauces. After, they taste tested to see which would be best for their lunchbox pizzas. Then they repeated the process with 6 different types of bread , freshly made by their class teacher, and now have their pizza recipes ready to go next week!

๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ Runners Up By One Point but undefeated.๐Ÿ๐Ÿ† What an absolute intense battle at the North Hampshire and West Berkshire Dodgeball Championship hosted at Theale Green today! We pushed through an intense 1.5 hours of non stop high energy in heat.
We were joined by some ex St. Finian's who came to cheer us on. This was the last year 6 tournament of the year, and the very last time this group will represent St. Finian's on the court. An emotional but incredible way to wrap up their St. Finian's sporting journey. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ†
