Hi everyone,

We are now taking bookings for lessons to start in September! We have slots available for all instruments and tutors, get in touch for further info!

Have you always wanted to learn a new instrument or brush up on something you enjoyed in the past? Why not book a block of lessons at TMA!

The Academy premises is on Thame High Street, just 2 minutes walk from the town centre! We have 3 professional, well equipped teaching rooms, a comfortable waiting area and the usual amenities.

We can provide professional, creative and fun tuition in a variety of instruments including: Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Singing, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Recorder, Brass, Drums and more!

We offer 1:1 and small group lessons to both children and adults with the option of working towards grades in any of the instruments we provide tuition in.

*THAME SUMMER MUSIC WORKSHOP - LAST FEW PLACES!*

Thame Music Academy is pleased to offer our Summer Music Workshop this coming August 2018!

The session will take place on Friday 17th August from 9am - Midday with all children aged 4-12 welcome to join in!

We will add further sessions depending on demand.

The children will get the chance to learn and sing a variety of seasonal songs, have a go on a large selection of percussion instruments and play some brilliant rhythm games culminating in a performance for parents at the end of the session! We will also be composing our own pieces!

Alongside this we will be making our own musical instruments out of recycling which the children can use within the sessions and take home at the end.

A drink and snack will be provided.

*CLOCKWORK MUSIC BABY SESSIONS*

Hi everyone,

It is almost time for a brand new term and that means the return of our fantastic Clockwork Music baby sessions at Thame Music Academy!

The sessions are open to babies aged 3 months - 1 year.

The sessions involve a programme of fantastic sing along and action songs along with a huge array of percussion instruments and props so everyone can have fun!

The sessions take place during term time at Thame Music Academy, 37 Upper High St, Thame from 11 - 11:30 am every Friday morning!

The fee is £5.50 per child/per session and our first session of the new term will take place on Friday 6th September!

Hi everyone,

We are very excited to welcome 2 new tutors on board at TMA:

Rowan Carter:

Rowan is a highly enthusiastic music teacher who specialises in Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute, as well as Piano and Singing! She teaches students of all levels from beginners to the higher grades.

Sophia Smith:

Sophia is a highly experienced tutor in a range of brass and other instruments including trumpet, cornet, horn, bass trombone and piano! Having performed professionally for many years and taught in a variety of capacities she can provide creative and professional lessons for students of all levels.

Rowan and Sophia, along with many of our other tutors, will both be on hand at our next open day, Saturday 9th September from 1 - 4 pm! This is a fantastic opportunity to take a look around our wonderful premises, chat with our tutors and have a go on a large variety of instruments, everyone is welcome and refreshments will be provided!
