As the school holidays approach, we know they'll be lots of day trips and time away as families..

When you're packing, please remember your first aid kit! This can prevent emergency trips to hospital and in some cases, lives.

Here's our top first aid kit essentials:

⛑️ Plasters, small bandages for falls and trips
⛑️ Scissors and safety pins for the bandages
⛑️ Antiseptic cream or wipes to clean those cuts and bruises. This can prevent infections
⛑️ Extra suncream, after sun, Aloe Vera and antihistamines for sunburn and heat rash
⛑️ Rehydration sachets - often children especially forget to drink much in the heat and can get sun stroke, so rehydration is vital
⛑️ Sugary sweets - again for help with dehydration and heat exhaustion
⛑️ Pain relief from headaches, falls and injuries
