As another fabulous Playgroup year comes to an end, we're filled with so many wonderful memories and a few tears as we say goodbye to our Preschool children and their families.

We've been looking through the children's photo books and remembering their very first days. We are so proud of their journey with us and how much they've developed and grown, so that they are now ready for the next big adventure in their life. Each child has brought their own unique personality, laughter and enthusiasm to Playgroup leaving a special mark on our hearts.

For our Preschool children and families, please remember that our door is always open to hear about your exciting news and to help you if you need it.

To our younger children, we can't wait to welcome you back after the summer. We have lots of exciting activities, new experiences and plenty of fun waiting for you!

Each and every one of our Playgroup team are so grateful for the lovely and thoughtful words, cards and gifts from the parents and their families.

Have a fabulous summer everyone - filled with laughter, adventures and special family moments. Thank you to everyone in our Playgroup Family for making this year so memorable and we look forward to seeing you again and wish our Preschool children every happiness as they begin their next exciting chapter.

As the end of the school year fast approaches, today our wonderful group of Preschool children performed at our Leavers' Show.

They were all amazing and made us all incredibly proud. Watching how much they have grown in confidence, kindness and independence has been such a privilege.

As you can imagine, it's been a very emotional day as we celebrate our Class of 2026 and enjoy our time with them before saying goodbye to some of them today, tomorrow and on Friday.

Thank you to all our families for your support, kindness and trust. It has been an honour to be part of your child's early learning journey. Please keep in touch, we are always here for you too.

Reach for the stars children, believe in yourselves and remember that you will always have a special place in our hearts.

You are all superstars!

A note from FOBH - Friends of Bredon Hancock's is below.

Here at Playgroup we are delighted to have been invited to have our own race in The Colour Run and also work so closely with such a wonderful school and friends team.

Hi everyone 🙂

A polite notice that tomorrow FOBH - Friends of Bredon Hancock's are hosting a colour run on the school field Bredon Hancocks C of E First School

This may mean that in neighbouring houses and through the village, if children walk home, there may be traces of powder paint. This paint is poses no risk to wildlife or animals.

There may also be some additional noise from approximately 2:00pm when the event starts. But we aim to be finished by 4ish.

We would also politely ask that, where possible, people could avoid driving past the main entrance to the school. We will be utilising both playgrounds so want to try to ensure the safety of our children as much as possible as they cross between the playgrounds.

Today the children visited Bredon Hancocks C of E First School for a school dinner.

They were made very welcome by the catering team, school staff and lovely school children and soon became comfortable with eating in the lunch hall. This will really support their transition to Reception class in September.

We were also invited to attend the school's iSingPOP concert in the church in the afternoon. The Playgroup children were all amazing, with some being "glued" to the performance. How exciting to see the school children so happy and enjoying themselves whilst putting on such a wonderful show for the audience.

Tomorrow, we will be taking the children to their Stay and Play session at Bredon Hancocks C of E First School. They all seem very excited.
