We found a caterpillar while on a walk earlier. The children looked at it for a very long time asking lots of questions 🐛

Hi everyone,

just a little reminder regarding sickness and diarrhoea~

If your child has been unwell with sickness or diarrhoea, we kindly ask that they are kept at home for 48 hours after their last episode before returning. This helps prevent the spread of illness to the other children, as well as to myself and staff.

We do understand that childcare can be challenging, however, if you are aware that your child is unwell, please do not send them in. Bringing a child in when they are already ill increases the risk of it spreading throughout the setting.

If illness spreads and we become unwell, we may unfortunately have to close, which would impact all families.

What Ofsted might not see in a snapshot…
🌈 The child who didn’t speak for weeks - until one day they did.

Inspections capture a moment in time.
But childhood doesn’t unfold purely in moments - it unfolds in relationships.
And the most important work we do in early years often lives in the spaces between observations, paperwork, and “grades”.

Because children don’t grow on a timetable.
They grow where they feel safe, known, and understood. 🥰

For anyone preparing for an inspection - you
are more than a moment in time. The care, connection, and consistency you offer every day is what truly shapes childhood. 🌈🫶🏻❤️
