These ladies were incredible, they were super skilled. Especially at creating the tricky dumpling folds.

The most lovely review from my first "Chinese at Home" workshop

There will be no need to get a Chinese take away ever again, as we made sweet and sour chicken, Singapore noodles, ribs (OMG - my mouth is watering at the thought of them) , egg fried rice, and delicate hand wrapped pork dumplings. I can't recommend Alice's classes enough - Nicki

Our new family favourite "Mid Week Meal" Sausage Ragu 🍝

Jammy Dodger Blondie

One of our Mum's loves a Jammy Dodger so I thought I would try this it's was absolutely delicious

This week's was a classic and my favourite

Victoria Sponge

Here are a few tips for getting the perfect sponge....

🍓Make sure your butter is "squidgable" if you squeeze it lightly it would hold an imprint. Spreads are actually the best texture for a cake just not the best flavour

🍓Use the right size tin

🍓Cook at 170c most ovens 180c is on the hot side 🔥

🍓Set a timer and beat for 1 minute

Big and round with a cherry on the top 🍒

Not the crunchy ones you have at Easter 🐇 these are chocolaty marshmallow squares

Full of goodness......

Super easy to make, I think I prefer the classic marshmallow recipe though.....
