Yesterday, we said goodbye to a truly special member of the St Teilo’s family as Mrs James retired after many years of dedicated service.

Throughout her time at St Teilo’s, Mrs James has touched the lives of so many pupils, families, and colleagues with her kindness, patience, and unwavering support. She has made a lasting difference to countless children and will be remembered for the care and encouragement she gave to everyone she met.

While we are sad to see her go, we wish her every happiness in this exciting new chapter. Thank you, Mrs James, for everything you have done for our school community. You will be greatly missed by so many, but your legacy at St Teilo’s will always remain.

What an amazing, fun-packed day for our Year 6 leavers! ☀️🏖️💦

We spent the day at the beach before heading to Wild Lakes Aqua Park, where the children had an absolute blast! The laughter, smiles and memories made were priceless. We finished the day with food together, celebrating a fantastic group of children.

Today was our Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly, and what a wonderful way to celebrate an incredible group of children.

Every single one of you spoke with such confidence. Your speeches were thoughtful, heartfelt and often funny, and you should all be so proud of yourselves. Standing up in front of a room full of people isn’t easy, but you all did it brilliantly.

It’s been a privilege to watch you grow, learn and become the amazing young people you are today. As you leave primary school and begin your next adventure, take with you the friendships you’ve made, the memories you’ve created and the confidence you’ve shown today.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. Keep believing in yourselves, work hard, be kind, and never stop aiming high.

The children worked so hard and put on a truly brilliant show. Their confidence, enthusiasm and commitment shone through, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.

🌊 Dosbarth Caldey Beach Day 🌊

Our full-time Nursery, Reception and Year 1 pupils had a fantastic day at the beach on Wednesday! ☀️

The children enjoyed playing football, bat and ball games, and showed off their creativity by building some amazing sandcastles. There were lots of smiles, laughter and teamwork throughout the day.

What a wonderful day spent outdoors, making special memories with friends that will last a lifetime! 🏖️💙

Diolch to Sumo’s Sunshine Service for donating deckchairs and extra parasols to keep us comfortable and cool 😊

What an amazing day we had on our trip to Caldey Island! 🚤☀️

The children had an absolutely fantastic time, especially putting the brand new play area to the test! As you can probably tell from the lack of photos, we were far too busy having fun to stop and take many!

Our adventure included a walk up to the lighthouse, exploring the nature trail, and finishing the day with some well-earned, delicious ice cream. 🍦🌿💙

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Dr Zeraschi and Mrs Tomp for organising such a wonderful day and for all of their help throughout. We'd also like to say a massive thank you to our fantastic parent helpers – we couldn't do these memorable trips without your support.

It was a day full of smiles, laughter, adventure, and wonderful memories that I'm sure the children will be talking about for a long time!

This role involves supporting learners on a 1:1 basis, helping them thrive, and contributing to a supportive, inclusive school environment focused on wellbeing and achievement.
💼 Salary: Grade 4 £25,989 – £26,403 pro rata
