Companies House service

Hey all. I know you probably think I am making a meal of this, but it is very difficult to track down who owns More House now and who to contact if we all want to go and have a look around.

Any of you living in Tenbury, or with a contact at the school, please let me know. I have tried all the ones suggested in the past and had no reply.

Latest development I found was this https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/UHgKqyl5pSSzFUrS799Nea7Djgg/appointments which shows a company was registered there for land and property development. I have tried to track down one of the people on that company directors list via all her other companies, but none of them exist anymore. I will try another person off the list tomorrow.

Can anyone with children still at Thomas More school and who knows someone on the staff... Please ask if anyone there can find out who owns the property? Any lead would be good, who they sold it to would be a start. Cheers.

Merry Christmas to everyone from More House. Still no reply/news from Tenbury on who owns the building now. I will contact everyone again in the New Year. Anyone would think it was a secret....? Have a great 2015.

MORE HOUSE UPDATE... I am trying again, to find out who currently owns the building and grounds. My ambition is to set up a day in the spring where we could meet up in Tenbury for a bit of a reunion. If and it's a BIG IF, we can find out who owns the building, they MIGHT even let us have a supervised look around. Fingers crossed, again.

Anyone have memories of spending a cold winter at More House? Especially in the very early days. The fire in the staff/tuck room always seemed to be burning and that room was warm, but the wind blew through the kitchen like a knife.

Do you have good memories of teachers at more house? They always seemed more relaxed there, more fun.

Well the reply from the guy, was that it wasn't him. He had purchased More House but it was a different one??? Apparently in the woods at the other end of the road with a falling down wall... I digress. Nice old fella but not the one we are looking for. I will contact the school direct and see what help they are.

What would you do with More House?

I have tracked down the chap who purchased it in about 2000, and according to local agents he is not planning to do anything with the site just yet. I am not going to give out a name on here, but I am going to write to him on behalf of all of you and see if... he would be willing to let some of us come down and have a look around one of the days. Wish me luck!

I have checked with Worcester and Malvern planning applications and the last one was in 1991 when The school added a fire escape from the top dorms. I have a contact in Tenbury who is looking into local info. Generally it looks like it is just sitting empty now.

To gauge a guideline of when we all went there, please add some year dates to this post. I will start you off with mine.

I went to Tenbury yesterday and found More House. It is in really good condition, just as we left it, but no longer in use. A lot of people were interested so I set up this page so we can all share memories and upload any images you have of the site and the stuff we got up to there. In this way I hope it will live on for a while in our minds at least.
