Dear Accordion Friends,

It is with great sadness that we must inform you that St.Audries Bay Accordion Week is no longer going to be able to happen.

We had contact from the camp earlier this week. After long consideration they have come to the difficult and disappointing decision that they can no longer offer their ‘Special Weeks’.
It is not just Accordion Week that this has affected, but ALL of the special interest weeks they used to host.

We know that this news will come as a hard blow for some, as many of you have been attending since it began over 30 years ago.

The staff at St.Audries will be contacting those of you who have booked for 2022 over the coming days to organise full refunds.

We would like to thank you for your continued support over the years. St.Audries has been a very special place and will be missed incredibly by all who attended.

As the group leaders we are in discussions to potentially find a new venue. We will of course keep you informed if and when there is any news on this.

Again, we thank you, we will miss you and we send every one of you our love, luck and laughter for the future.

The puppy loves nothing more than a singsong on choir night..... She even howls in tune....

This was me. My music was my stability and still very much is. My accordion lessons, groups and orchestra were my constant. My duet partner was like my sister. The vocal band at school and my music at church were my outlet when things were stressful.

I am grateful for the time and money spent on my musical education and for the opportunities I have had to perform.

Although I am loving being able to teach via the media of zoom.... I cannot wait to get back into face to face teaching, playing together and enjoying music once more. Lockdown has been hard on musicians all over the world. Can't wait to be back. X
