Early Years Practitioner required for our 'Outstanding' rated Pre-School in Templecombe, Somerset.

The successful candidate will work closely as part of the Pre-School team under the direction of the Pre-School Supervisor to provide stimulating, safe, high quality education and care for young children. To work as a key person to a small group of children, and to be motivated and able to use your initiative.

You will need to be able to plan, prepare and lead group activities, engaging all children and promote learning and have a good understanding of the 2021 Early Years Foundation Stage.

Minimum level 2, Level 3 desired.

30 hours per week (Term time only)

Application deadline : 7th March 2022

Expected start date - April 2022

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Preschool: 1 year (preferred)

“Making Children Count”

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

• Reports from 2018-2019 from Committee Chairperson, Supervisor and Treasurer
• Resignation of Committee members
• Nomination of new Committee members
Everybody is welcome to attend.
Come and celebrate our achievements and successes from last year.
As a charity, Sticky Fingers Preschool legally needs a voluntary committee. The majority of current committee members will be stepping down this year because their children have moved onto big school.
Anyone is welcome on committee and we work to each other’s strengths. Some people take more responsibility for fundraising whilst others complete secretarial tasks or give financial support. Most importantly we need people who are supportive towards the setting. We meet once a month, except during the summer holidays, so it is a manageable commitment even for busy working parents.
If you would like to find-out more about being on committee, please speak to Shelly, Maria or any of the current members who will be more than happy to discuss this with you.
Anyone wishing to put themselves forward to the committee should contact Maria Rixon, Pre-School Supervisor, for a proxy form.
