Three days in and our balloons are heading from Paris towards Luxembourg this morning! (Although it's very likely that some may end up in Belgium and Germany!)

Hammers, Sunny and Mary are currently in 1st, 2nd and 3rd of our individual cause race, coming in 16th, 21st and 33rd in the overall race respectively ✨

Lots can change over the next few days though! So don't forget to log on and check the positioning of your balloon(s) 😃🎈

Once the race has started you will not be able to purchase any more balloons, or edit any you have in the race. So if you have been thinking 'I'll do that shortly', now is the time 🎈

Tracking your balloon will be a great half-term activity, and we can't wait to see who comes 1st, 2nd and 3rd from our own fundraiser and manages to scoop one of our amazing prizes ✨

Since posting about our Eco Balloon race just two weeks ago, you have helped us to raise an amazing £200 towards essentials for our new Mud Kitchen area 🥰

One of the things we would love to purchase is warmer all-in-one suits for the children so that they can reap the benefits of being outside all year round. Anything left over after we have bought these will go towards good quality equipment that will be used for years to come 😃

Don't forget there are some amazing prizes up for grabs, including £100 cash kindly donated by Autotech - which may come in very handy post half term 😅

We are really excited to be taking part in an Eco Balloon Race next month to raise money to buy more resources for our new mud kitchen - specifically warmer puddle suits, so that the children can be outside all year round 😀

How does an Eco Balloon Race work?
You can buy balloons for £3 each via the link below, then, on the 14th February the balloons will set off from the Eiffel Tower for a 7 day race. Being an 'Eco' race, the balloons are virtual (no actual balloons will be released) However, the race is managed via a computer simulation and uses real-life weather data. You can track your balloon either through the website, or via Google maps.

Prizes
There is an Amazon Echo Dot and £100 cash available via the Eco Balloon company for if your balloon is 1st or 2nd in the entire race. However, there are other charities raising money in this race too, so we will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for our 'local' race - I will post about those soon, so keep an eye out for more details! 👀

Who can buy a balloon?
Anyone! Please feel free to share our unique link with friends and family. We get just over 75% of the cost of each balloon sold, so it is a great way to raise some funds for the preschool 🙂 If you would like a poster to display at your workplace, please just let me know!
