๐Ÿš“๐Ÿชฅโœˆ๏ธ Aspiration Week โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿชฅ๐Ÿš“

Before half term, Acorn Class had a fantastic time taking part in Aspiration Week alongside the rest of the school.

We were lucky to be visited by a police officer, a dental nurse and a member of cabin crew, who shared all about their exciting jobs.

The children loved exploring the police car and hearing the sirens, practised their tooth-brushing skills with the dental nurse, and learned all about what happens when you travel on an aeroplane.

๐Ÿ• Pizza Making Fun! ๐Ÿ•

We had so much fun making pizzas today! The children made their own pizza dough before carefully choosing and adding their favourite toppings. There was lots of excitement as everyone waited to taste their delicious creations! ๐Ÿ˜‹

This hands-on activity encouraged the children to use a wide range of expressive language, explore different textures and smells, and even discover some new foods along the way! ๐Ÿซ‘๐Ÿง…๐Ÿ

This week we have enjoyed spending more time outside, making the most of the warmer weather. We had lots of fun at forest school and spent time developing our gross motor skills through mark making with chalk.

We have also started exploring our new book of the term, Aliens Love Underpants. We designed our own underpants to hang on our own washing line to see if the aliens come to visit!
