Last year I held a circle which was part of this Sister Stories project and it felt important to spend the time with other women creating that stillness and connection because of everything else that was going on in the world.
This year, right now, it feels even more important.

If you feel drawn to try to create some positive energy for the world perhaps you can come too 🌀

East devon - Sunday 1st Feb 1pm.
Message for more details.

The next Rockaway circle will be on 14th June

As summer solstice approaches and nature reaches its peak you are warmly invited to join our women's circle.
We'll be reflecting on our growth through 2025 and setting intentions for the second half of the year.
Whether you’re feeling radiant or in need of a reset, this is a space for all of you.

We have a limited number of spaces available so get in touch to reserve yours.

I hope to see you there 🌀

Yesterday, to celebrate world labyrinth day, we gathered at the labyrinth my clever friend recently created in a nearby village and set off at 1pm, as others were doing all over the world, to create a few moments of peace and intention.
It was a lovely thing to be part of and to congratulate her on her achievement of commandeering a corner of the cricket pitch! Never an easy task.

The first circle at Rockaway was emotional!
The women said they felt held, togetherness, sisterhood, gratitude and there were stories of births, deaths and school playgrounds.

As the taster was so well received we'll be discussing dates for more which is very exciting! Hope you can join us.

We had another lovely home circle last night thinking about balance and pauses and growth, fitting in with the equinox energy.
We also talked about how sometimes not speaking in circle, reflecting or taking a moment of silence, can be as powerful as sharing a story or response. However people show up is welcome and valid.

The next circle is at Rockaway on the 29th.

My next home circle is coming up on Monday, if anyone wants to join send me a message, and the Rockaway circle on the 29th which I'm chuffed to say is full with a couple waiting!

Rockaway will be part of the Sister Stories one sacred circle I'm thrilled to say, joining the ripples around the world.
Exciting times! 🌀🕯 🤍

Tonight's circle took the traditional theme of light and dark and then the theme of rebelling and conforming emerged so we went off in a different direction.
It is always interesting to see what tales the circle wants to be told.

Books worth hunkering down with in December include for me Findings by Kathleen Jamie and The Winter Solstice by John Matthews.
I discovered Jamie's writing a few months ago on world bookshop day when I randomly chose something from a lovely little independent bookshop after coffee with a friend. She writes so evocatively I now have several of her books!
The Solstice book has been with me for over a decade and I enjoy being reminded about all the seasonal traditions around the world that have come together to make our UK Christmas.

Women have gathered in circles for generations to celebrate, mourn and be in community.
At this time of embracing the dark in the northern hemisphere these circles are even more important to carry us through the winter months.
Circles can be held anywhere from front rooms to village halls, from the woods to the beach. Anywhere that sacred container can be created and the power of circle felt.
