At Dawley Dental Practice, we love giving local students the opportunity to experience life in a busy dental practice, learn about careers in dentistry and healthcare, and build confidence for the future.

Every performer amazed the audience with their confidence, creativity and talent, making it a fantastic evening to remember.

A special congratulations to Hailey, whose outstanding street dance performance earned her the winning title. She truly wowed the audience, but every act was exceptional, and we are incredibly proud of each and every performer.

Well Done Darci!

This week, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Darci, a Year 10 student, to The Hummingbird Café for her work experience.

From the moment she joined us, Darci has been kind and always willing to help with a smile. She’s become such a lovely part of our team in such a short time, and it’s been wonderful to see her confidence build throughout the week.

We’ve received so many lovely compliments about her from our customers, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s achieved.

Thank you, Darci, for all your hard work, enthusiasm, and the positivity you’ve brought to the café. You will be so missed by us all.

🌬️ Asthma Support for Families

As we head into the summer holidays, we're sharing some important asthma advice for parents and carers.

Did you know that asthma symptoms often increase when children return to school in September? Taking a few simple steps over the summer can help keep children well and reduce the risk of asthma attacks.

Please take a moment to read the attached information for advice on managing asthma, recognising symptoms, and making sure your child has their prescribed inhalers ready for the new school year.

Our Year 10 Community Champions were hard at work on Tuesday! 🌱

On Tuesday, six of our Year 10 Community Champions volunteered at Dawley Town Hall, helping to tidy and prepare the community garden ahead of the recent hot weather.

The students got stuck into harvesting potatoes, foraging poppy seeds, and pulling weeds, making a fantastic contribution to the local community while developing their teamwork and volunteering skills.

A huge thank you to Great Dawley Town Council and the wonderful volunteer, John, for welcoming our students and providing such a rewarding opportunity.

Well done to everyone involved – you were fantastic ambassadors for Langley! 💙
