Thank you to all of our families who attended or two harvest festival services today. We hope you enjoyed listening to their beautiful singing and their readings.
Thank you also for your kind donations of tinned food. If you would still like to donate tins, I will be taking the items to Telford Crisis Support on Friday morning. Please note that we cannot take out of date food to the food bank.

Class 3 went out in search of natural pigments this afternoon to see what prehistoric people may have used for creating their cave art. They were able to make some surprisingly bright marks from natural things such as grass, blackberries and petals.

It was Stone Age day in class 3 today. The children dissected ‘Stone Age poo’ to find out what the hunter gatherers ate. They investigated Neolithic tools, Iron Age forts and build their own round houses.

Class 3 had a fabulous day at Kinver Edge Iron Age Fort today. We made clay pots, built hurdles, made fire and traded goods with another tribe. Children also held artefacts, some of which were 40,000 years old!

This prestigious, evidence-based accreditation recognises our commitment to promoting and improving the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) of our pupils, staff and wider school community.
The Sandwell Well-being Charter Mark celebrates schools and organisations that place wellbeing at the heart of what they do. As part of the process, schools complete a comprehensive audit of their existing SEMH provision and develop an action plan to strengthen and enhance support where needed. The award recognises both the excellent practice already in place and our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
