Dear Parents/Carers

Please find attached the adjusted start and finish times for the new school year.
Please check your child's class timetable as some have changed slightly.
Your child's new, personal, named PE kit will be handed out during the first week.... remember these PE kits will remain in school, and will be laundered by the school staff. Your child is more than welcome to wear their own PE kit from home, if you prefer, but it must be an appropriate school kit or they will be expected to wear the one bought by school.
You will be advised of the days your child will be doing PE by the class teacher, during the course of next week.

What fun we had at the early years Jubilee stay & play this morning 🇬🇧
There were lots of Jubilee activities along with some very yummy cakes 🍰
It was lovely to see so many of you ❤️🤍💙

☀️7th June - Jubilee stay and play 9.30-10.30.

☀️15th June - Early Years Sports day

☀️24th June - PD Day

☀️ 5th July - Daycare and Preschool Taster Day for new september children & children moving room 9.30-11am

☀️6th July- nursery and preschool parent consultations

☀️12th July- preschool taster for new September starters and children moving up. 1.30-2.30pm

☀️13th July - Daycare taster for new September starters 1.30pm-2.30pm

This week in daycare we have been continuing our theme of “In the Garden”

We have all planted some cress seeds & can’t wait to see them grow.

We have investigated a selection of vegetables focusing on big & little.

The children really enjoyed the dinosaur small world .

The children created some gorgeous red flower 🌺 paintings, using the finger paint technique.

We created some gorgeous petal play dough which smelt divine 💕 the children enjoyed making flower prints in the dough.

The children also found some mini beasts whilst our playing in the garden 🐛

We’ve had a truly wonderful week with our 2 year olds ☺️

This weeks focus story will be “From the Garden”
Here’s a sneaky peak at some of the activities waiting for you tomorrow 🥦🥬🥔🍠

This week in daycare we have welcomed our new starters, they have had a fabulous 1st week with lots of fun 💕

The children enjoyed our focus story “who’s in the garden” each day joining in with the noises in the story.

We planted flowers for the pots to hang around the garden fence, we can’t wait to watch them grow 🌸 The children enjoyed filling the pots with soil & making a hole with their fingers to pop the flowers in, we then talked about what the flowers would need to grow & the children helped to water them each day 🌸

We had a fabulous time in the forest looking out for signs of spring.

The children were working hard on their fine motor skills making their fingers strong by pinching the peg petals onto the flower head. This was quite tricky, so well done 👍🏻

The children enjoyed a PE session in the main school hall with crossbar. They followed instructions really well.

We’ve had a fabulous fun week with you all, have a lovely long weekend & we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 🌈
