Home based childminding service in the Dawley Bank/Lawley area, holiday and after school care.
My name is Lindsey Grainger and I am an OFSTED registered child minder with over 15 years of experience within child care. I live in a 3 storey house with rooms specifically dedicated for the purpose of child minding. This includes a nursery room downstairs and a games/computer room in the middle floor (see my photos). I offer services from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday and work during term times and school holidays.

The children use their independence skills at breakfast times. They learn to pour, chop, cut, spread, count their own food and learn what recycling bin’s we use.
The children then go to brush their teeth and use flannels to wash their faces.
They all enjoy this part of the routine and I love to watch them grow with confidence and improve new skills 🤩

We have been learning about capacity today with rice play.

The children are excited to take their home learning packs to their houses this week.
All packs are based on each child’s next steps and suitable for the children’s age and stage of development. Even our babies take it home.
We change the activities each weeks to make it fun and to encourage lots of learning 😃
Each pack contain a language development tracker inside for parents to keep on track of where their child’s language and development is at.

Our hospital play was a hit 🤩
I was so happy to see lots of lovely language skills, sharing, working as a team, imagination, social interaction, mark making and reading own marks as they write down notes on the clip boards.
We had so much fun.
