It’s official… we have the keys! 🔑🎉

Today, the school was officially signed over to us – a truly historic milestone in our journey and one that has been a long time coming.

So much hard work has taken place behind the scenes to reach this moment, and we couldn’t be more excited for what lies ahead.

We can’t wait to grow, inspire young minds, and create lasting memories together. This is just the beginning, and we’re so excited to welcome you all on the journey with us! ✨

🚧✨ It’s official… the temporary building is coming down! ✨🚧

Today has been another exciting day of progress inside our new school. The STEM room and library have started getting their accessories and finishing touches, while teams have been busy labelling storage areas and items in classrooms.

There has also been plenty of flat-pack furniture building going on — with some very questionable instructions keeping everyone entertained! 😅🔧📚

Seeing the spaces come together is incredibly exciting, we can’t wait for you to see in September!👀🏫✨

As we come to the end of an incredible first year at Thomas Telford Primary Free School, we’d like to wish all of our children and families a wonderful, safe and relaxing summer holiday!

We are so proud of everything our children have achieved and would like to thank all of our families for their continued support in helping make our school such a success.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Thursday 3rd September, along with our new Reception and Nursery children, as we begin an exciting new chapter in our brand new school building.

💙✨ Thank you to all our parents/carers and children who took the time to come along to our drop-in event to say goodbye to the temporary building. It was lovely to welcome so many of you and to share memories of a space that has played an important part in our school journey. ✨🏫💙
🎶🌟 A special thank you also goes to our amazing choir for their fantastic mash-up song, specially created to mark the occasion. Your wonderful performance made the event even more memorable and was the perfect way to celebrate the building's place in our school story. 🎤🎵👏

🎶✨ We are looking forward to opening the doors of our temporary building for one final time after school today, from 3:30pm–4:15pm. 💙

As well as enjoying a special performance from our choir just after 3:30pm 🎤🎵, we are excited to see the fun selfies our children take using the specially made selfie sticks created by our School Council! 🤳🌟

☀️ Hot Weather Update – Week Beginning 13.7.26 ☀️

With the warm weather set to continue into our final week of term, children are welcome to wear either their PE kit or school uniform to school, whichever they feel most comfortable in.

To help us keep everyone comfortable in the warmer temperatures, we would be grateful if you could ensure that your child:
• Arrives at school with sunscreen already applied
• Brings a sun hat with them each day
• Has a named water bottle in school
