Due to high demand, we currently have a 30 hour per week position available.
You must be flexible to work within the hours of 7.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years is essential (not Health and Social Care) and you must have (or be willing to gain) your Level 1 in Child Protection and Paediatric First Aid.
Previous experience in working with this age group would be a preference, but not essential.

Mission Christmas

This year as a nursery we would like to support Mission Christmas, we know that many local families are struggling with rise in living costs, meaning some families are having to make very difficult decisions as to heat their homes and feed their family or buy Christmas presents. We want every child to receive a Christmas present this year and want to support this amazing cause and help those in need.
If any of our parents would like to join us and donate a gift then please feel free, we will be collecting all of next week and will be delivering everything we have collected to B&M store on Monday 19th.
Anything you can donate big or small can make a big difference to a child in need.

If you would like your child to join us at church street day nursery, you need to apply for the funding code by August 31st, to be able to start in September .

Don’t miss out on our family fun Summer Fair on Saturday 2nd July.
We hope to see lots of familiar faces join us to support the nursery and lots of new faces to come and see our amazing nursery and what we have to offer.
We will have lots of fun activities set up to join in with and a visit from the ice cream van between 11am-1pm.

Today in nursery we celebrated the Jubilee. We all came together in the garden for a picnic lunch and amazing cakes made by our chef❤️💙

On Saturday 2nd July, we are holding an open day/ summer fayre at Church Street Day Nursery, we are looking to support a handful of local small businesses, by offering you to set up a stall outside for a small charge. This could be handmade gifts, sweet treats, book sales or many other wonderful things.

Water play and some heavy sensory with the trampolines and exercise ball.

Lion king children have included maths into their farm tuff tray today. The children need to look at the numbers and scoop the correct amount of food into the animals bowls 🐄🐄🐑🐑

In line with new government guidance we are asking for all parents to please wear face coverings when dropping off and collecting your children from nursery, our staff will all still continue to wear a mask on hand overs.
We also ask that if your child is showing any symtpoms of COVID 19, however mild, please can you get a PCR test and wait for a negative result before bringing them into nursery.
