We are pleased to announce that a small cohort of our learners have recently completed the 'YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Performance Massage' qualification✴️

Replacing the previous qualification, YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Performance Massage is fully endorsed by the General Council for Massage Therapy (GCMT) and developed in association with the The Association of Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA). Furthermore, this qualification aligns with the National Occupational Standards (NOS).

Assessment day at University Centre Shrewsbury 📝

The students will be assessed delivering a group weight management session, as part of 'Level 4 Weight Management for Individuals with Obesity, Diabetes Mellitus and/or Metabolic Syndrome' qualification.

Introducing the new Suada app, developed by our awarding body, YMCA awards.

Suada is a digital learning platform to support the delivery of the next generation qualifications, making the learning process as flexible and accessible as possible.

Our next generation qualifications will be launching from 1st April 2024.

We are proud to offer such a vast array of health and fitness qualifications. It's been an amazing journey since AP Fitness Academy became established back in 2013.

Our qualifications have helped individuals start their career in the fitness industry and upskill current fitness professionals looking to progress their development in the sector.

We are not stopping there... More courses and qualifications will be added in the coming weeks/months, these include:

Earlier today I attended a celebration event for 'Black Country Impact'.

As one of the training providers I was invited to share my experiences of the project to the attendees, in particular how my company had supported young adults to address barriers, attend training, gain qualifications, and secure jobs in the health and fitness industry.

A brighter future for young adults... It was a pleasure to play my part.
