Cleaner Required – Family Nurseries Newport
Family Nurseries Newport is seeking a reliable, hardworking **Cleaner** to join our friendly team.
Hours
* 2 hours per day
* Monday to Friday
* Plus one monthly deep clean
Working hours can be either:
Morning: 5:00am – 7:00am (before the nursery opens at 7:30am), or
Evening: 5:30pm – 7:30pm (after the nursery closes at 6:00pm).
Duties include:
* Cleaning nursery rooms, toilets, kitchen, and communal areas
* Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Carrying out a thorough monthly deep clean
* Following all health and safety procedures
* Helping to ensure our nursery provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff
Requirements:
* Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
* A keen eye for detail and a reliable work ethic
* The successful applicant will be required to undergo an **Enhanced DBS check**
* Two satisfactory references must be provided before employment can commence

Our graduation took place today, and it was wonderful to see all the children and their families come together to celebrate this special milestone.
We are so proud of each and every one of you and will miss you all very much. We wish all of our leavers the very best of luck as they begin their next adventure.
A special surprise was a visit from our Town Crier, who popped in to wish all of our leavers good luck too!

Good afternoon,
With a Amber weather warning in place this coming week due to high temperatures, we would like to assure you that we will be following government guidelines to keep the children & staff as cool and safe as possible. We will continue to monitor the temperatures throughout the day and act accordingly.
We please ask all children bring a named sun hat, has cream applied before arriving and wear cool light clothing, with their shoulders covered, and a change of clothing in their bags,
Children will be encouraged to drink plenty throughout the day and fresh drinking water will be supplied and bottles topped up regularly.
Suncream will be applied again at lunch time and we will avoid outdoor play during the hotter part of the day.
