Today our preschool children had the most wonderful visit to our local nursing home! โค๏ธ

Together, they enjoyed completing puzzles, colouring beautiful pictures, and sharing lots of smiles and conversations. It was so special to see friendships forming across generations, with both the children and residents bringing joy to one another.

These experiences help our little learners develop kindness, empathy, and confidence while creating meaningful connections within our community. Thank you to everyone at the nursing home for making us feel so welcomeโ€”we canโ€™t wait to visit again! ๐Ÿงฉ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’•

๐ŸŒฑ Fresh from Grandad Rayโ€™s Allotment to Our Nursery Shop! ๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿ…

Our nursery shop was bursting with fresh produce today as the children proudly displayed the delicious courgettes, tomatoes, and cucumbers they have grown at Grandad Rayโ€™s allotment. ๐ŸŒฟ

The children have loved being involved in every stage of the growing journey โ€“ planting, watering, caring for the vegetables, and watching them flourish. Today, all of their hard work paid off as they visited our nursery shop to choose some of the freshly picked produce to take home and enjoy with their families.

Seeing the childrenโ€™s proud smiles as they carried home their harvest was so lovely. Experiences like these help them learn where food comes from, encourage healthy eating, and give them a real sense of achievement.

A huge well done to all of our amazing little gardeners, and a big thank you to Grandad Ray for sharing his allotment and helping make this wonderful experience possible. We think youโ€™ll agreeโ€ฆ those courgettes are very impressive! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฅ’

๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ“ Our Rising 3s had a wonderful first visit to Grandad Rayโ€™s allotment last week! ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒฑ

The children loved exploring the allotment, discovering all the different fruits, vegetables and flowers growing there. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about where our food comes from, enjoy the fresh air, and take in all the sights, sounds and smells of nature.

There was lots of exciting conversations as we spotted different plants, looked for insects, and talked about how everything grows with a little care and patience. It was a lovely hands-on learning experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

Before we left, we made sure to check on our pumpkinsโ€ฆ theyโ€™re growing beautifully and will be ready for October! ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ’š
