The Holiday Club children had a great time exploring the King Charles Woodsand surrounding area in Shifnal during the May half term ☀️

The Baby Room had a lovely sunny walk to the duck pond this morning ☀️🌿

If your child is attending Holiday Club on Tuesday, we will be going on a nature walk. Please ensure they have sun cream, hats, suitable footwear and a tshirt which covers their shoulders as it will be hot!

Can we please remind all parents that your child needs a hat and sun cream to access our outdoor space in the sunshine. Please can you apply it in the morning before nursery so that maximum time can be spent outside.
We do not keep spare sun cream due to allergies so a new bottle that has your child's name on needs to be provided. We can only use open bottles for 12 months from the date provided, so last years cannot be used.

🌟We have a Lost Property Box in the Foyer.🌟 🌟Please feel free to check through 🌟

🎉🎉And she's done it again! Special shout out to Kate our Cook who has helped us achieve another 5* food hygiene rating! 🎉🎉

The Wrekin trip with Holiday Club

Just a reminder....
Holiday Club are going up the Wrekin today. Please ensure your child has a coat, waterbottle and suitable shoes as well as a spare change of clothes incase they get muddy or wet.
Thank you

Has the Easter Bunny Been?
Thank you to Isabellas Dad for supplying all children with an Easter treat.
Help yourself in the Foyer 😀

As we have swapped our Preschool and Holiday Club Room we have had to reduce the number of Holiday Club children we can take. Please ensure you book your child's place in advance to avoid disappointment as we will not be able to facilitate your child without pre-booking.
W.c. 10th April, we still have a few places but these are filling fast.
Please note: Holiday club fees are to be paid in advance when booking to secure your childs's place.

Due to the weather conditions and the risk of the snow/slush turning to ice, we have made the decision to close at 2.30pm. This is to ensure the safety of the children, staff & parents. Thank you.

Tomorrow (26th January) we will be having a Pyjama Day so children are welcome to come in their favourite PJ'S 😴✨️

Home Page | Millie's Mark 18/01/2023

🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Following the Millie’s Mark panel, we are delighted to inform you that we have once again achieved Millie’s Mark. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

"What is Millie's Mark?
Millie's Mark will be awarded as a special endorsement to childcare providers that go above and beyond these minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid, and also ensuring that everything learned during the course is kept alive and in the forefront of practitioners’ minds so that they are confident, ready and capable.

When your setting gains the Millie's Mark accreditation, you provide reassurance for your parents that all childcare practitioners know what to do in a paediatric first aid situation.

It acknowledges that children’s safety is at the forefront of your mind when you care for children."

Home Page | Millie's Mark For Childcare Providers Millie’s Mark is an exceptional achievement for a childcare setting, as it shows they are going above and beyond minimum requirements in keeping children safe. Find out more

If your child does not have a Christmas Jumper, please don’t worry something red or green would be just as good!

With Strep A cases on the rise and the devastating number of children losing their life to it this year, we want to make sure that everyone is aware of the symptoms.
We would also like to make parents aware that it can cause Scarlett fever.
Please ensure that if your child has these symptoms they are checked out by a medical professional. In the short term we are asking that if working/family care arrangements can be made, that children with these symptoms are kept at home where possible to minimise the risk.

Thank you for your cooperation.
