Whether it is connecting with friends, getting active, trying something creative, doing a small act of kindness, or simply pausing to check in with how you are feeling - small steps can make a real difference to wellbeing over the break.

If you or your young person needs support, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of these services:

The summer holidays are a fantastic time to enjoy your freedom - exploring, spending time with friends, and making the most of the long days. We just want to make sure every one of our students does so safely.

From always letting a trusted adult know where you are going, to trusting your instincts if something feels wrong, the tips in this image are simple but important. Please take a moment to share them with your young person and have a conversation about staying safe out and about this summer.

An important update for Telford Park families.

From September 2026, new Department for Education guidance on school uniform affordability comes into effect nationally. We are pleased to share that many of the changes we introduced last year - following consultation with students, parents and staff - already reflect this new guidance.

We have now updated our Uniform Policy to provide greater clarity for families, including visual examples of acceptable uniform, details of where to purchase items, and information about the support available to those who need it.

Our uniform is designed to promote pride, belonging and equality, whilst remaining affordable, practical and accessible for every family. That commitment has not changed - and it never will.

Golden tickets, golden futures!

A huge congratulations to our brilliant Year 6 stars! During our recent transition days, students earned golden tickets for showing the Telford Park values - and with a huge box of tickets to draw from, four lucky students and their families have each won a £50 shopping voucher.

Here are some of our winners collecting their prizes this week - every one of them thoroughly deserved.

To all of our new Year 7s: you have already shown us exactly what you are made of, and you have made a fantastic first impression. We cannot wait to welcome you all to Telford Park in September!

Our families have spoken - and the results are in!

100% of parents told us their child feels more confident about joining Telford Park in September, with every family rating their Transition Days experience 5 stars.

Parents described the experience as welcoming, friendly, well planned, supportive, and reassuring. But this response says it all:

"Being cared for as an individual, not just a name on a list. The team went above and beyond by identifying she was the only one moving up from her school, and matched her with 2 girls in the same situation. The 3 of them are already connected by phone."

That is exactly what Telford Park is about. We cannot wait to welcome our new students in September.

STEM stars in the making! On Monday, 10 of our Year 9 pupils took on the STEM Challenge at Shrewsbury College, building electric racing cars, programming robots and testing their skills in medical diagnosis, CPR and even creating police e-fits. They worked in teams alongside pupils from other schools and threw themselves into every challenge with real enthusiasm. Well done Year 9, you were a credit to the school.
