Our Pre-School children are learning about Harvest to understand where food comes from and to learn the importance of being thankful. Through harvest activities, the children will learn about kindness, sharing, caring for others, helping them to develop empathy and understand how they can make a positive difference in their community. To support this we are doing a harvest collection to give to those in need. Pre-school children at our Stirchley setting will be visiting St James Church this month to donate their harvest collection and share a harvest story. We hope this will be a lovely opportunity for the children to experience the true meaning of sharing, kindness and community.

Toddler room have been enjoying the story 'the pigeon needs a bath'
so what better way to build on learning about birds than a walk to the pond to visit the ducks and see if they can find the pigeon who needs a bath.

Today, our little explorers at Chipmunks Preschool Brookside embarked on an inspiring adventure with Ruth from Veolia - UK 🌟 They were spellbound by the tale of 'Munch' the recycling truck and shared their own eco-friendly insights with Ruth, discovering the incredible impact of recycling on our planet. 🌎 We're thrilled to see our young minds grasping the concept that everyday items can be transformed into amazing things like planes and cars! ✈️ We're committed to nurturing a love for recycling in our nursery and beyond, empowering our children to become the change-makers of tomorrow. 💚 We can't wait for our next 'Litterbugs' story session, where together, we'll continue to inspire a brighter future! 🌟

In our vibrant nursery rhyme garden at Chipmunk's Brookside, the children unleashed their inner spark, discovering the magic in every melody. They harmonized with glee, belting out classics like 'Old MacDonald' to 'Hop Little Bunnies' and, of course, 'Tiny Turtle.' As they sang their hearts out, their bright little faces radiated joy, transforming our surroundings into a symphony of wonder! We're thrilled to witness their curiosity ignite, illuminating the world around them with pure enchantment!😊🌹🎵

What an incredible summer we've had here at Chipmunk's Brookside! We've blossomed through exploring our vibrant nursery gardens, soared to new heights with bird spotting, and shone bright in the radiant sunshine. We're empowered to start our September term! See you soon! 🌞

What a day we had at Carding Mill Valley, the children had lots of fun searching for rocks in the hills and they even said hello to a very curious sheep 🐑. The children should be super happy with themselves they have made us proud with how much they walked 🏆
