Here's all you need to know to get your tickets to see Santa at Madeley's Christmas Lights Switch-on.

Ticket Collection: Madeley Community Library
Collection times: Usual library opening hours, but not between 12noon and 1pm
Tickets: Choose your 15 minute slot and receive one ticket per child
Walk-in tickets: There may be some walk-in tickets available on the day but these are not guaranteed, booking is encouraged

Event date: 29th November
Santa times:
10-11am, quiet time tickets
11am-4pm, general admission tickets
Where: Santa's Grotto at Madeley Community Library
Using your tickets: You may join the queue at the front of the Anstice at any point during the 15 minutes time slot on your ticket. This is not your time to see Santa.

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding our first quiet time at this year's event. There will be no loud entertainment either outside or inside from 10-11am, so it's the perfect time to see Santa, browse the market, and enjoy the event with the family. Please ask for quiet time tickets if you have a child or children who would benefit from seeing Santa during this time.

Please note there will be NO walk-in slots available during quiet time (10-11am), so tickets must be collected from the library for these spaces. Please DO NOT request a ticket for quiet time if your family can attend during usual admission times.

🧚‍♀️❄️Magical Winter Event ❄️🧚‍♀️

See event Magical Winter Walk for details!

Pop along to our annual Magical Winter Walk around the pools where we turn our area in to a magical, wondrous winter wonderland! Enjoy getting outdoors whilst peeking at the fairy houses and fairy lights.

We will have finished setting up by 4pm Friday 3rd January so feel free to wander down any time from then through to Saturday night. This is best seen at dusk but please note this is not a manned walk, so visitors are responsible for their own safety. We suggest wellies, a torch and always walk together.

On Saturday 4th January from 5pm-6pm we welcome our community to join a lantern walk; design your own hanging lantern and our volunteers will be picturing these and deciding our favourite. A winner will be announced on our page.

This event is free, with some funds from the Friends’ group, donators and lots of community Christmas spirit!

Tickets to see Santa at the Madeley Christmas Light's Switch-On 2024 are available from Madeley Community Library.

Tickets are FREE and on a first come first served basis (Only 1 ticket per child please).
