Huge thanks to the DIT for the LATAC Roadshow this week. Its been so useful getting updates on the education systems in Latin America and the Caribbean over the last 4 days. I have found the 1-1 meetings most beneficial. Looking forward to catching up with everyone over the next couple of weeks.

Today is the 24th World Book Day which celebrates everything to do with literature and reading. The annual event is largely targeted towards children and aimed at encouraging their love of reading. With so many children still learning from home today, how did your students participate? Primary aged children love to dress up as their favourite characters every year. Do you think they still participated this year, and do you think this has highlighted the differences for those children that have been learning from home? Is there a mental health impact on those children not being able to join in the classroom environment?
