The Rock Project Encore is a school of rock for 'ADULTS', it is based of the teaching methods & principles of The Rock Project, but for adults! So if you are 20, 30,40, 50, 60, 70 something and have always had the dream of being in a rock band, Encore is just what you’ve been waiting for. You do not need any experience, we welcome beginners on the other hand if you have been a bedroom player all your life and want to play with other musicians then this is your chance. Courses run for a term (in line with state school term times) You sign up for the whole initial term and then decide whether you would like to to join the next course and continue on your chosen instrument (or swap if you wish)

Each session lasts for 90 minutes. Firstly you will have a lesson on your chosen instrument in a small group , this lasts for 45 minutes, this is then followed by a 45 minute plug and play session where you will be able to put into practice what you have learnt in your lesson, accompanied by the other students in the group. During the course you will be learning enough material so that you will be able to perform in a showcase concert where friends and family can come along and see you become the rock star you always told them you would be one day! http://www.therockproject.com/midlands-encore-t

**Encore does not run on a drop in basis, It just doesn't work! Much like a further education night class, you sign up for the complete term even if you are unable to attend some! Our experienced tutors will catch you up if you miss a night so that you can perform in the gig at the end of term. Think of the gig as the equivalent of your course completion certificate.**

Our Story

Welcome to The Rock Project Encore Telford! The Rock Project Encore is a School of Rock for adults. We teach adults guitar, bass, drums and vocals and give them the experience of practicing weekly in bands and performing live on stage. The Rock Project Encore is a place for all musicians whether they are a complete beginner or advanced and want performing experience. A 90 minute session consists of a 45 minute lesson on the student’s instrument of choice (all instruments can be provided) and a 45 minute ‘Plug n Play’ where they form bands and put into practice what they have learnt in their lesson which includes a ‘song of the week’. Each term culminates in a live public gig for family and friends to come along and see the Encore students perform the songs they have been learning as part of a band. Sessions run weekly in conjunction with school term times at our very own purpose built venue (with 6 sound proof studio classrooms and a full sized stage!) at Unit 45 Ketley Business Park, Ketley, Telford, TF1 5JD on Wednesdays and Thursdays 7pm – 8:30pm.
