Settling in to a nice rhythm with in-room lessons whilst continuing Zoom online lessons with students as far away as India and Australia.
I love teaching - destroying myths and realigning misconceptions that have held students back for decades: new student yesterday who had struggled with bar-chords for many years... sorted out in a few minutes and he was chuffed.

Hmmmmmm.... No immediate return to in-room sessions, but the situation will change and change again as Boris & Co try to find their way out of the chaos they've created.
Meantime, we're rolling along with the 5-camera HD setup and direct-feed studio sound, so it's not all bad news.

A great day teaching online via Zoom - the big investment in multiple cameras, extra lighting and using my pro studio audio gear makes a big difference to the output quality.

The tech learning curve has been tough, but we're up to full speed with live online guitar and bass guitar lessons, using 6 HD cameras and a screen feed, paired with studio quality audio.
Student feedback has been amazing - so glad to be helping my Tribe.
Do I miss the face-to-face teaching?
Hell yes - but this is pretty good fun, too!

I've been pleasantly surprised by how much fun it's been to test online teaching.
Everybody knows that there's no real substitute for being in-in-the-room, learning one-to-one with a great teacher, but HD video 1-to-1 lessons with one are a close second.
